Wedding Photos.

It all started with our Engagement :)
Chris popped the question on December 23rd... in Omaha, NE in front of the entire fam-damily. Not quite what I had imagined, but definitely memorable as ever!
(Just in time for me to be included in family photos)

Woman with the magical Touch!  There wouldn't have been a wedding without my marvelous Aunt Laura! xoxo
And here are my wedding dresses :) So pretty!

And here is the man of the hour. Thanks to Uncle Tom and his cabin our weekend wedding get-a-way was a success!

Baby bump

Here is our time  lapse photos of pregnancy for your viewing pleasure.
Also,
What you don't know about these photos... every time (Thursday Nights usually) we took a photo we also began to get grumpy! I felt fat and ugly in ALL of them... Which now looking back, I don't look too shabby! Anyway, needless to say I felt very discouraged after each photo session.
WEEK 13

WEEK 14

 WEEK 15

 WEEK 16

.... Right about this time in my pregnancy I started to get hit on by almost all the regulars @ TGI Fridays. Comments such as
"You're one of the most beautiful women I have every laid eyes on."
or
"Where are you from?  The Middle East? I'm just so attracted to them, so you must be!" Hah. uhhh, I hope I'm not middle eastern...
and it went on.. the best was when a man told me that if he weren't married he'd for sure be coming after me.. Can you say awkward! And yes it became even more awkward when I continued the conversation with... that's funny I'm married, too.
Since then we've been buddies and an occasional fist pump is exchanged whenever we see one another.
I wonder when he'll realize that I'm pregnant, too!
....
Here's Chris trying to make me feel better about my growing belly and lazy ambiance.

 WEEK 18

 WEEK 21

 WEEK 24
We missed a few in between weeks as you might have seen, but you can tell in the early weeks that not much growing was happening week to week.
  As for the Third tr-mester..
I'm definitely growing, all over! Let's take a look

WEEK 25

WEEK 26

WEEK 27

WEEK 28

WEEK 29

This week I went in and had my blood drawn for gestational diabetes. Sadly I'm right below the cut off of being diabetic, which is great, because it means I'm not. But it stinks because now I feel horrible whenever I want to eat sugar... which I love. I can say without exaggeration that Chris and I were eating ice cream just about every other night :/  hence the weight gain. Although it is mentioned in a pregnancy "diet" plan under servings of dairy. (and I'm suppose to have 4 servings!)
So there. I'm justified!

I also was given my RhoGAM shot. This is medicine that fools my antibodies.
You see, I have negative blood, and for some reason negative blood does not like positive blood. So, they give negative blood type mothers this shot to fool my negative blood type antibodies into not being able to recognize if there is any positive blood in my system.
Why would there be positive blood in my system? you ask.
Well baby Jensen might have positive blood. And if that's the case, we wouldn't want my negatives to begin attacking her positives.
Fortunately, for those positive mothers, they don't have to worry. It doesn't work both ways.

And lastly, during each check up Dr. Miller measures my belly,or uterus, to keep track of baby's growth. And this time I measured big. I asked if it was a problem, or something I needed to address, but he assured me that all was well and that I was just, "making a large baby."
Oh joy!
I am my mothers daughter.
(For the record, I was 12 lbs and Christopher was 10 lbs)
maybe she'll be 11 lbs

Here's an update of photos and what basic information I've learned with each visit back to Dr. Miller.

WEEK 30

WEEK34

As of now I'm measuring just on track... The measurement is low as far as numbers go, but it's only because I'm tall. Tall people should be measuring @ smaller numbers, but it's only because our babies have more room within our torsos, so there's not as much protruding forward.
(I hope that makes sense)

WEEK 35

WEEK 36

As of week 36 I had 2 weeks left working at TGiF. My General Manager, Beau is kicking me out in fear of me going into labor any day now!

I'm in my 37th week now... we just haven't gotten the photo taken yet. With only one more shift left, I will soon have all the time in the world to keep you updated. Hopefully I don't become ridiculously lazy. One of the reasons I've kept working is to keep myself from getting to that point.
I just keep hoping that so called "nesting" phenomenon will be kicking in soon. . .
We've got T minus 3 weeks & counting!

2011

Happy New Year!

This past year has been such an eventful one. HAPPY eventful, too. Thank goodness.
Although, I don't know how many others can say the same, at least the people I've run into this past month of December.

So, I work at TGI Fridays, right? Well. Every person I had a conversation with about the new year was for some reason, more than relieved that the year 2011 was coming to an end. To me it was an instant wall being put between us in the conversation, because quite honestly I  0% agreed.

On the contrary of their year mine was filled with family gatherings. Beginning with our marriage in Manti, Utah where our families secluded ourselves in a gorgeous cabin for quality family time. We then spent a beautiful honeymoon in Maui.. and although we came home to bad news of Christopher's job, we were blessed with short periods of unemployment and ultimately a brand new job in Irvine, CA - which Chris LOVES!
..Not to mention that we had MORE family gatherings for our 1st reception in Omaha, NE and again in Camarillo, CA. Boy We've been spoiled! And even when we were struggling with the reality of Chris' unemployment we found joy in vacationing.

THEN, to make our year all the better on August 13th, my best friend Kaile's Birthday, we found out we were pregnant.

The Lord has just been so generous to us this year!
(I give all the credit to my amazing husband and all his dedicated works to our Heavenly Father!)

Once again, Thanksgiving brought us back together as family in Omaha. It was truly a bonding time for me with the Jensen's and a wonderful comfort to feel and see of their love for all of us as family. A bonus to the trip was the excitement of Lindsay's engagement and upcoming wedding!! We planned and brainstormed pretty much everyday, every hour.\
...Correction: THEY planned and brainstormed. I just gave input when it was asked for.

My main thought was, "I'm so glad this is all over and done for myself already."  Weddings are a tough thing to plan. And I have no doubt that Lindsay will put together a beautiful wedding :) And I'm thrilled to be a bridesmaid for her on this very special day.

As for December, we celebrated a few of our friends weddings and were able to visit with many old friends. Christmas came and went all too soon, like always. We spent Christmas with my family in Camarillo and it was such a happy relaxing time. Pretty sure for every one well balanced meal I ate two meals of chocolate and cookies. It was awesome! See's were my favorite this year.  And surprisingly I maybe only had one cup of hot chocolate.. and that's NOT normal! I chugged that stuff almost every other year.

To end with a bang we did the traditional trip to the Rose Parade and it may be the last trip too. ..Mom's just getting more susceptible to hurting herself... haha. and we don't need anymore of that, now, do we?!
It was a wonderful time and thanks to the Finaly's Chris and I had an actual bed to sleep on, instead of the typical asphalt, topped with carpet along Colorado Blvd.

And now here we are in 2012. A relaxing week so far.. thanks to a not so fun sicky cold... If this keeps up it may turn out to be a year I'm thankful to be looking back on; Although that'll be tough with our upcoming bundle of joy on her way in April!

All our best to you all this new year! And as I promised.. Here are some captured moments of 2011

Camping @ Moro Bay. Spring Break.

Visit to Hearst Castle, while on our camping trip

Visiting Rob up in San Luis Obispo, while camping
Trip to Disneyland to view the new exclusive STAR TOURS ride :) AWESOMENESS

3D!

Cool accidental photo(s) I took during the fireworks
Rob helping me prepare for my garden
Christine helped design our yard :) hehe

By the time we moved the plants and flowers were huge! My only regret was not taking a picture of them...

Now that we had a pretty backyard we hosted Dad's 62nd Birthday with a BBQ & a few rounds of Laser Tag. It was so fun!

Throughout the summer we took numerous trips to the beach.. with these goof balls!
 Leo Carillo

And shortly after, in September we moved South to Aliso Viejo for Chris' job. This is "The Great Park" in Irvine. We had a picnic together on his lunch break and daaang was it HOT!

So we went for a swim later on in our apartment swimming pool
Here is Dana Point. We found this pretty little harbor while exploring the area one Saturday afternoon
.. Remember that big orange thing in the back ground of our picnic? Welp, its a big balloon you can ride in up to 400ft in the sky!!

We went on it for the first time together while Kate was visiting us

 Huntington Beach

The water was FREEZING & we weren't expecting it to creep up on us while taking this photo...hehe
Day hike in the surrounding mountains of Aliso Viejo/Laguna Hills
